Ah yes, sorry I didn't realise this was specific to normal oblivion.
I love Alchemy though, think it was one of the best parts of the game, spent ages thinking up lots of interesting poisons and potions :)

@Taaplari it works at 50? srry i didnt know, the first thing i do when i make a new account is dupe a ton of ingrediants and max out my alchemy lol.

As I said in this video, expert level is highest you can buy from alchemy related merchants. Master can be found only from dungeons. Problem is that loot in dungeons is random. This is one of those places where I have found Master level equipment:

Two of the strongest I've developed :-
1 - Frost damage, Damage Heath, Silence, Paralyze, Burden
Nightshade + Milk Thistle Seeds + Frost salts + Rot scale
2 - Damage Health, Frost Damage, Shock Damage, Paralyze, Burden
Bone Marrow + Milk Thistle Seeds + Fly Amanita Cap + Scalon Fin

if you make a potion at atleast lv 75 with sweetcake, alo-vera leaves, flax seeds, and bog beacon asco cap you get the effects: restore health, magicka, and fatigue, plus shield and fealher. i made at lv 100 with no negative side effects and im pretty sure all of these ingredians are available at the guilded carafe in the imperial city market district
