Hey Asshole, don't fucking stop in the middle of the hill next time. You just might make it all the way up with no problems.

@alexrex20 the 5.2 still isnt what you would call an efficient engine, my buddy's 99 5.2 got 12 mpg average, with a low of 8 and high of 13.3...thats pretty sad. But id agree with you, of the engines the 5.9 is prob a good choice, and of course the hemi is best

Fucking dodge... -_-" but atleast it got up the hill. Lol
-
just needed some mud tires maybe!
-
nice truck man, with some good tires, it would be a tank.

Need some tires them thing were just spinning like crazy
Does the 5.9 have any power. Does in need to rev like the 4.7. How do the 4.7, 5.2, 5.9, and 5.7 compare?

@yellowcow13 4.7 has got power, yes it needs to rev, but it gets decent mpg. the 5.9 has gobs of torque but is a gas guzzler. the 5.2 is the best compromise. the 5.7 Hemi is worlds better than either the 4.7, 5.2, or 5.9 IMO

@alexrex20 How would you rank the 4.7 5.2 and 5.9 1st 2nd 3rd. Lets say i do some light to mid level towing, want a crew cab, occasionally pull on steep climbs, and don't want to drink too much gas but still go off road and need 4x4.

@yellowcow13 they all will do what you need them to do. first find a truck that meets your other requirements (crew cab, 4x4, condition, mileage, etc.) then you can start looking at what engine they have. the 4.7 gets better mpg than the 5.9, but that's not saying much. don't let fuel economy be the deciding factor, because it just ain't gonna be that great if you're getting either of these.
to me, the power/torque is worth more than the mpg, so i'd pick the 5.9. but really, the 5.7 is best.
