@jennifermoreau Prostitution is different from trafficking. If your an American and can't process that then to bad. Kidnapping and forced labor shouldnot be compared to those who engage in the exchange of sex for money out of their own free will.

I understand the biggest numbers are concentrated in India.... in Mumbai (Bombay) there is a "red light district" where something like 100,000 (or more, can't remember exactly) women and children are enslaved ... & there are other high concentrations of captives in other areas of the country ... many of the captives are kidnapped in Nepal as children ... it's heartbreaking ... look up "Maiti Nepal"
