Moving Unified Communication (UC) beyond technology. This video explains how people in an enterprise can communicate effectively and process-oriented based on state-of-the-are unified communications technologies.
Communications and content are often disconnected in enterprises. Valuable information isn't always found on a piece of paper. Just as often, it lives in somebody's head. You know, your engineer types or that genius over in acquisitions. Obviously, its important to the success of your company to be able to quickly access that info when you need it. That's not always easy, though, is it? Your experts are scattered across the enterprise. They work in different locations or time zones, and are available via different communication channels. On top of that, you can never tell who is available and who is not. More than likely, you're on a tight deadline and you need answers now. So why cant getting in touch with your experts be as easy as having all of them sitting in the same room, so that you can simply ask your question, and instantly get an answer? What options do you have? Email? Sure, maybe. Actually, there are stats that show that 70 percent of all attempts to find a subject matter expert by email are unsuccessful. That's why we created BizSphere. Were not only leveraging the possibilities of Unified Communications by removing the barriers between communication channels, but were also reconnecting your content with the experts. By integrating content with its respective contact resources, our innovative platform lets you seamlessly connect to all the experts that matter to your current project. Now, knowing who to contact and then doing so are as easy as a mouse click. Saving your time, your money, and your nerves.
Solid concept. I like the idea of getting away from email overload - reducing the amount of communication to middlemen. If you need information now, go to the source.

Absolutely. Horizontal knowledge sharing has a couple of phases that this application seems to support:
1. Introduction
2. Establishing common context
3. Exchange of information
Introduction is made pretty easy by just clicking (UC feature) while the common context is already provided by the application.
In our times of information overload it is crucial for companies to prioritize knowledge focus strategy - helping their employees to connect to the right information and people.

I am using this daily. Ever tried to look up who within your company has a given role with regards to a given product in a given country... maybe in a given vertical? Finding these people in seconds and then starting a call with one click is web 3.0 mashed up with Unified Communications! Way cool
