The adrenal glands are the triangle-shaped endocrine glands that sit on top of the kidneys. They are chiefly responsible for regulating the stress response through the synthesis of corticosteroids and catecholamines, including cortisol and adrenaline.

    cortisol secretion starts at about 6th hour and normal range is 6-8 hours. so for softening/health/shine of skin, its better to sleep 6+ hours if not 8
