@legodude24652 Wow, wow, wow easy killer. New Way has been in business for a while. Look at Albuquerque's trucks. Those are 2003s!

nice catch. very rare truck

That is one slow packer.

nice video

Excellent footage! loved the driving shots where the truck was just driving in, and such. Disappointment from New Way having the packer slower than a Leach, but it's probably older than me anyways..

packer could be a little faster. still, that's one neat little truck. I don't even think I'll be seeing anymore Volvo FE's in person anymore. great vid.

Well New Way was just in business in like 2004 so the body can't be THAT old, so IDK why the packer sucks balls. Definitely an oldie though. And small lol. Looks like a one man truck too. Awesome job finding this and filming it!

@legodude24652 Thanks! Small RELs here are very comon for some smal commercial busineses that choose regular trashcan & cart services where large RELs aren't needed. But they're also used as backup truck for residential trash runs when a large REL breaks down & yeah, I was disapointed bout the pac cycle. Could've ben caused by worn out pistons frm da carrier plates or wet trash slush geting into the pistons from packed out cycles.

I have a couple questions - why do they use such small trucks for commercial routes? I love spares- they are old and fun to watch! Thank you for posting!

@r6man2 Most of the commercial trash here is collected by frontloaders. But there're some small commercial busineses that choose to use trashcan services with optional cart service. Since most residential trash here is collected by larger rearloaders & the volume of these small commercial routes aren't heavy, a small rearloader known as a pup truck is more suitable.
