Methotrexate night for J and I

Yes, I know we post a lot of these injection videos but J likes to show other kids that they are not alone! And she likes that I also need MTX :(

I have watched a few of your daughter's videos and even showed my daughter. I will start to inject her 0.9 MTX this Sunday due to persistent uveitis going on for over 13 months now. How did your daughter's uveitis finally get under control? My daughter had TINU (kidneys are fine) syndrome post strep throat. We have tried oral Prednisone, PredForte drops, dilating drops, 0.4 ml oral MTX, 0.8 oral MTX, and now will start 0.9 SQ MTX. Thanks for the demonstration, she is so brave!

@richy1724 MTX alone didn't control the uveitis. She had to start Enbrel and after about 7 months she started to flare again. Moved onto Humira. She did really well on that but after a while her eyes and joints started to act up again. She's now on Remicade... eyes have been clear for about 4 months now. If her eyes start up again we'll increase her MTX and Remicade. We can always add prednisone (oral and drops) but I would like to avoid that if possible.

Hi, I have a son who was dx 1 yr ago with Poliarticular JIA with systemic onset, he has been on methotrexate for 8 months, did enbril for 3 months, now since that isn't working anymore he is on humira every other week, too soon to tell if it will work or not he is 4 now. What type does Jordan have & how old was she. Are her medications working well for her? She is so cute & brave!!
