, I went to my doctor and she gave me pills wich didnt work at all so i went back a couple months later, She then gave me a different kind which worked but the week after i finished the treatment they all came back, So now i have an appointment to get started with accutane. & I was wondering
Did youhave any side effects, like ive heard of dry lips, eyes & skin in general but any others?
And when did you start seeing results?
You look great & Im glad everything worked out for you ! :)

just to let everyone know, i kept breaking out till may, i started the meds in Febr and and ended 3 days ago, dairy plays a big role, it seems when i touched it, my acne would get bigger, so be careful

i have just got off July 22nd, everythings awesome, life is so much easier, you feel like doing things. Had horrible lips, all cracked, face got red in the sun, i would peel, even my ears, but as far as right now, i would do it again for these results, i was on 60mg, for 6 months the entire time, just like samismurf, his vids really were just like my experience
So tell me about accutane? Is it like a skin product like proactiv? Because proactiv didn't work for me ;( ...... So I'm hoping accutane will work ;)

@toNGanPreTTy143 No it's a pill. I can have some serious side effects so it is only recommended for severe acne that no other product has worked on. However you might not experience any side effects, I didn't really. I just got a little rash on my arms that they gave my product for, and I noticed that I got a little more moody than usual. But trust me it was worth it.

Didn't your acne come back after you stopped taking it?

@q1111w nope all clear still. Of course you can expect to get a few normal ones here and there that all teens get. But thats like nothing really

my acne isn't horrible, but my dermatologist put me on new meds recently that has really been working but i'm afraid to come off of it because my acne may come back so idk what to do, my dermatologist offered me accutane, but i'm afraid to try it especially with all the blood work! do you think i should try it? and do you still have your scars?

@kkimmmayxo Well accutane does have risks, so it is something that you should think about if you have unsuccessfully tried a lot of other medications, and if your acne is really severe. I don't know how bad your acne is or how many medications you have tried so you be the judge of that...The bloodwork isn't that bad. I didn't like it of course, since I hate needles, but it was only once a month so I could deal. Yes, I still have scars, but they are slowly fading. A lot less noticeable now.
