Dhikr Chanting of Islam

Feb 3rd 2007 Shaykh Hisham visited the Naqshbandi Dergah in Germany. Over 500 people attended the gathering. Shaykh Hisham gave a talk, after which he led khatm zikr, after which he led a Hadrah zikr. It was truly a heavenly gathering. see for yourself

It is narrated in the Musnad of Ahmad (ra) that the Holy Prophet salalahu alayhi wasalaam said: "Udkhurullahu Hatta Yaqulu Majnun" = "Do so much rememberance of Allah the people declare you Mad". In another riwaya: Abu Said al Khudri (ra) reported that the Blessed Prophet salalahu alayhi wasalaam said"Do so much dhikr that people declare you mad",(Abu Yala and Ibn Hibban). Both of whom declared it Sahih.Imam Suyuti (ra) declares this proves the validity of loud dhikr and in congregation or alone

I am Sunni( for now) but i have to say that Sufis did more for Islam than Shiites or Sunnis combined ever did... Almost all non-Arab people were brought to Islam by the teaching of the Sufi's !!!!

This is pretty scary and absolutely not from the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. When someone told me this kind of stuff actually happened i didnt believe it so i thought i'd youtube it. Wow, brothers and sisters please lets strictly follow the Sunnah which was taught by Rasool s.a.w, no one else knew how to worship Allah SWT better than him so lets not let our arrogance take over insha'Allah. Dear SuperMastmalang: I don't want to get into the process of proving that the hadeeth you are referring to is in authentic. The grade of this hadeeth swings between inserted and weak.

You can enjoy a great thikr by reciting the Quran, studying it, or even memorizing it without going mad. Allah "sweetened" the human and decorated him with a mind and intelligence.
