His calls for purist capitalism never cease to amaze me. Handouts to religious charities aren't capitalism either, Bill, nor is the regulation to guarantee you're not drinking piss water or contracting black lung on the way to work. The O'Reillys of the world really do not know what they are asking for in their romanticism of wholly unfettered markets.

oh come on!

There's only one type of person that still drives domestic cars, and they can be broken down into 2 groups:

1) Gangmembers
2) Police/Law Enforcement.

File for bankruptcy & restructure. Might I suggest making a better product that not JUST Gangmembers want to drive?

As long as we're afraid to let other countries enter the market for employees, we're going to see stuff like this. People are scared to death of American workers "losing jobs to foreigners," but they don't realize that after the initial "loss," the standards of pay in those countries would quickly rise and things would be competitive again and companies would have incentive to build factories closer to home. In fear of a short-term loss fo jobs, we're acceptign constant inefficiency. Shame.

Normal O'Reilly BS. Labor costs are 10% of sale price; but intergrated GAS & Servicing are 37%! OIL is the problem, not Labor! Cheap Fuel-Less Transport has been invented, with NO MACHINE MOVING PARTS - thus no servicing. But still they jock around with everything from "Biodeisel" ("renewable"); Natural Gas ("clean energy"; to "Electric" ("new miracle batteries")! Time for REVOLUTION, not "more miles to gallon" reform!
