Here's a look at the hardware of the Verizon Motorola Droid X. The 4.3" display is less wide and more tall compared to the HTC HD2, because it has slightly higher resolution in the virtical direction: 854 pixels, versus 800.

Beyond that, the Droid X is a thin device. It has hardware buttons at the bottom of the screen. There is a fifth hardware button dedicated for the camera.

The device has three microphones for use with the HD video recording. You can choose various scenes which will determine where the audio is being recorded from.

Also included with the Droid X is a microHDMI type D connector. You can find this connector on eBay, so you don't have to buy one through Verizon.

  • "It feels low quality"

You sir, are the complete definition of a douchebag. Your mother feels low quality

  • Since when did weight become a desirable attribute for a pocket device?

Is the Droid X's 5.47 ounces (155g) not heavy enough for you?

Unless the Droid X's panels are ill / loosely fitted, or that it creaks, or its back scratches easily etc, there is really no justification to keep calling it 'cheap', 'low quality'.

  • Smart phones are really fucking stupid. Takes 2 1/2 hours to charge this piece of shit from 0% battery to 100% - Had the thing unplugged for 10 minutes and it was already down to 90% battery. Oh- and this is while the phone was on MAXIMUM BATTERY SAVER. Giving this piece of shit 1 more day before I return it. Stupid droid. Completely unsatisfied.

  • @JakeEricson I could see that I had a hefty OC on my OG as well. Although I wouldn't say it was really "faster" per say than the X it seemed like it was right up there. So ya w/ a vanilla droid it's possible speed wise. As far as 3D performance the OG can't keep up even w/ the heftiest of OC's. Although for an old phone tweaked right it plays games considerably well. I love my X though w/ Apex 2.0 and a steady 1200mhz this phone screams.

  • @lamiac2411 Uh... No.

If you took a stock Droid X and compared it to my vanilla Droid, mine would outperform. Sure, Droid X has a better camera, but an average person really doesn't need more than 5 MP. My phone literally has free memory 24/7 with correct compressing settings and a MUCH bigger VM Heap Allocation. Even if someone was horrible enough to max out their internal memory, it's not that hard to shoo some over from your SD car unless you're complete retard status with tweaking.

  • @JakeEricson Lol at u. Waaayyy better camera and double the ram. As well as a better processor. And a ton of other improvements that IDC to mention.

  • @JakeEricson whoa whao whao. Just because im not good with phones doesnt mean I dont have a brain? How about I ask you to answer a question u know nothing about and when u get it wrong i call u fuckin stupid?

  • @insectmans1 Cool. Difference between Droid 1 and Droid X: bit more RAM and a slightly better camera.

That's it. My vanilla Droid is faster than the Droid X.

  • @Nonlethal106 Yes. Or you can either A: Not be retarded and use your phone to it's fullest potential by using Wi-Fi, or B: Once again use logic and put the apps on your SD card by using the thing that you used to access this website "You-Tube" called a computer. Come on man. Use logic. I would understand asking a question like "Is the hardware really that much better than the Droid or Droid 2?" or something... but come on. You have a fucking brain for a reason.

  • @TheArtesticle37 Quality: completely dependent weight and size.

  • @Nonlethal106 it has wifi.... you dont need to pay verizon for that.

  • Can u pay for internet for 1 month, download some apps, and tehn get rid of internet and still keep the apps u downlaoded before?
