Clouds By Cannonball Adderley

Julian Edwin "Cannonball" Adderley was a jazz alto saxophonist of the 1950s and 1960s. He joined the Miles Davis sextet in 1957 and played on the seminal Davis records Milestones and Kind of Blue. In 1961 Cannonball narrated The Child's Introduction To Jazz, released on Riverside Records. He performed with The Cannonball Adderley Sextet along with his brother Nat Adderley on cornet. His 1966 single Mercy, Mercy, Mercy reached #11 on the Billboard charts and has become a jazz classic. This selection, featuring Sergio Mendes on piano, appears in his 1962 album Cannonballs Bossa Nova.

Im really lucky i just picked up Cannonball Adderley and Friends at my local record shop. Its been open since the 50's and it has a ton of great stuff. This is on the record, love it.
