@philzorg No, thats not right, Sharon played in other movies after the Vampire killers, Valley of the dolls, 12+1 and The Wrecking Ball. She was murdered in 1969.

Jack Palance was brilliant as Dracula. It was TV movie from 1973-74. His performance should not be forgotten.

My favorite line from any vampire flick: James Mason (Straker) says to David Soul (Mears): "You'll enjoy Mr. Barlow...and he'll enjoy you." James Mason was suave and sinister (like Cushing and Lee). Christopher Lee is my favorite Dracula. Lee is the Eastwood of vampires -- he hardly says a word -- he just knocks off people.

My grandparents and mother were from Romania. There were are no vampires there -- just a lot of poor people who were forgotten after decades of Fascism and Communism. Romania needs a real-life hero -- a great leader who can bring them into the 21st century along with cutting-edge high tech.

Fantastic, love the song (big Kate Bush fan) and good to see some decent films (better then that twilight shite). I like particularly like Christopher Lee and also thought the Fearless Vampire Killers was an epic film!

Im a girl in the late teens and i prefer old horror movies the most and i think the old school vampires kicks ass of the twi-light movie and edwardo pussyface haha
sometimes i wish the twi-light movie wasnt made and the producers hold into the old creatures of night, but that will never happen, but im sure about 100 years from now no one will know what twillight are, only dracula :)
Don't call them old, call them "classic". These are still some of the best.

come on people, this music does not fit in any way, except for the very beginning until the woman sings! sounds too modern!
old horrors deserve better! an old fashioned frightening tune, like they use to play to substitute the lines, remember?
