strongtam - I'm Australian, born in 1985. My first memory of this song was in the car with both of my parents and two brothers when I was still in a booster seat so I was about 3. Whenever this song would come on the radio either at home or in the car, our parents would turn it right up and we would all sing along. And yes, we yelled "shaduppa ya face" at every given moment for the next 10 years. Great memories :)

What a riot! So fun. I wonder how many kids were running around Australia yelling "shut uppa you face!" after seeing this. This just endears Australia to me that they would show this to kids. We're too uptight in the states!

I just loved this song when it first came out and saw Joe Dolce live at the local Westfield Shopping Centre in Airport West here in Victoria. Ahh those were the days indeed. I feel so sorry for today's kids. In so many ways they're missing out. Kids tv is nothing like it used to be.
