zeus is junk cant trust it at all, hydraulic lines pop, blades get flung off the props, computers lock up, steering locks up, if you buy zeus you will be sorry...but thats my opinion. if u cant dock your boat the traditional way you probably dont belong on the water

who cairs. ever see the water jacket rout that these things get? iv worked on boat's alot. actully its my job. merc's are probebly one of the best built motors. they last the longest.

Zeus is more responsive, don't have to hold joystick down, rear facing props deal with line better and submerged objects, Zeus deals with runarounds/ hits far better, look up the Thailand boat club ips incident on a sunseeker portofino 47, ips didn't sheer off and flooded entire engine compartment, people have reported driving Zeus lower units into concrete walls , retrieve them, replace bolts and refit, try that with ips you'll get a sunken boat
