Just a preview of the basic riffs of the song. The other 2 covers of this song on youtube are great, but you guys are doin more work than you need to. It is basically just an alternating slap and pluck with hammer ons thrown in. This is more a cover of the live version. Les throws in an extra high note during the main riff that isn't in the recorded version. Sorry, didnt feel like recording the audio in or syncin it up to the track, but i am pretty sure I have an almost exact tone programmed in my multi effects pedal. I'll maybe do a better quality one soon. If anyone is havin trouble figuring out any Les/Primus track I would be more than happy to put up a vid for you!

  • You are the only guy I've seen other than myself that actually does the same style of slap as Les. Well it's more of a percussive strike

  • Schecter Stiletto diamond series studio 5? Thats what I've got. Sounds like you got this down, but I'm struggling with the picking technique. Looks like double thumb but just not sounding right, like I'm missing notes.

  • I have almost the exact the same guitar.

  • Some pretty awesome slapping going on here.

  • woah reallyreally good!!!
