I for Isolation #2 (2008)
Site Specific Installation
I for Isolation #2 is an installation created for the empty, cold and claustrophobic rooms of a World War Two bunker. A woman of the era appears trapped inside, locked in one of the rooms. Her image appears on a screen. The viewer stands in the bunker, disturbed but also amused, and questioning the contradictory information that he or she perceives. This, paradoxically, asks the viewer to suspend his or her disbelief; to believe in the impossible.
