I don't think so. I mean, it is not that I think it is a complete disaster. It is a masterpiece compared to the guy with erectile disfunction dancing in a supermarket bag. It just doesn't fit the music as interestingly as other videos. Take, for example, the unofficial videos for "Tight Black Rubber" and "Threshold Aprehension". They're almost as cool as the songs. Yours is just random. Just an opinion.

Whoisthedrizzle, I like it. A lot. Suits the song, frantic as it is. Cool song, by the way. Dogdamn! I am Dutch, so I know what a Herman Brood-song's supposed to sound like, This sound different, but understands the essence of Herman Brood. It's pure and straight from the heart. Like a shot of heroin.

@kouwbe Also "You can't me", "Doreen" and the in the US as single released "Saturday Night" are legendary songs, maybe even better than "Dope Sucks".

@kouwbe @kouwbe You can't compare Brood to Elvis, they don't make the same kind of music nor can they be placed in the same subculture. Brood made a more "hard rock" rock 'n' roll and therefore he attracted more stereotype rockers, punkers and young people in those days. I would say he was a singer like Johnny Thunders, with the image of Johnny Cash. He became an iconic symbol for the dutch glory days of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll. Check out the studio "Dope Sucks", one of my many favorites

C'mon, don't be stupid. If this isn't a Frank Black video it rules! Are you a Pixies fan? Velouria, a video make by the Pixies in the height of videos, was an 18 second shot of the band jumping over rocks, slowed down to almost four minutes. I don't know if this is the real thing, I think it is. If it isn't it is genius and well done.
As for the Dutch, release Herman Brood, I want to hear everything! This song rules and rocks! If Herman Brood is as big as Elvis let us hear it!
