I followed this guys instructions for fixing an MX Revolution mouse's charging problem. Sure enough, it works! Nice job to the man for figuring it out. Sometimes I have to turn the mouse off, or on before placing it into the cradle if I see the error again.

  • before opening the dock try to clean the mouse power receptors!! i scratched em with my nail and then used my shirt until they were really shining and it is charging again

  • I had already done that. Both sets of contacts were shiny new, and free of gunk. The mouse gave me problems after about 2 weeks.

Following that guys instructions fixed the charging issue I was having. Only cost me a 5 pack of resistors at Radio Shack.

  • What is the site that explains how 2 fix this problem?

  • Its listed in the info. Click on the "more info" link in the video description.

  • Ok, the slaming worked for a while, but then the problem would still persist after slamming. So I opened the mouse up (4 screws under rubber pads) and took a look a the battery. My battery is connected to the curcuitry with a small 4 pin connector. It was obviously not pushed into the socket far enough. I pulled it out and then reconnected it, pushing it in all the way. THREE weeks now and charging and mouse operation as been flawless!

  • used also 3 resisters 10 Om by 0.125W. Charging now works but resistors became very very hot.

  • Whats the little gliding thing on the bottom of the mouse called? i need to replace those

  • its works!! thanks man :)

  • I notice sometimes it errors out when charging but then I just turn it on, or turn it off. Its wacky. If it fails one way, I just flip the switch and it works. A good bet is not to let it run down and store it on the cradle.

  • hey guys i have a quietion why does my mouse have to be turned on to take the charge is taht normal or not?

  • My favorite from Logitech is the air mouse.

  • Fixed the issue with a gentle slam of the mouse on my desk.

  • I had the same problem but after leaving it twice over the night charging the problem got fixed. in the meanwhile i got a spare battery from ebay. damn..

  • If you register it, go through the Logitech customer support, then it does not matter if it is refurbished, Logitech support will most likely ask if you want them to send you a new one. the problem is the little flap of aluminum that acts as a resister, or charge siphon, that is connected to the caseing is flimsy and does not stay seated.
