At E3 2006, the Nintendo World store in NYC hosted a live satilite feed of the Nintendo Media Briefing, which included the first publicly shown game footage of the Nintendo Wii console.

There was actually LOTS of interest in Wii Music from the mainstream gaming press at E3 06, even G4 coverage was disappointed when it failed to appear at E3 07.

It wasn't until Nintendo actually tried to make it their headliner game at E3 08 that I saw any negative coverage of Wii Music.
