Nope the Fuzztones used that riff to this song back 92 on the "Monsters au go go" album, doubt they were the first ones to use it but it sure as hell wasn't the white stripes!

Hey , was it the white stripes who originally put the peter gunn riff under this song? cos sutch's and other versions like nick cave, the horrors etc dont have it and it sounds so driving with it, was wondering who transplanted it.
