i love yo yo ma, I've seen him once in my life during a rehearsal and it's so awesome to hear him talk to the other performers. But I kind of dislike John Williams because he took a lot of his ideas from Shostakovich - sorry, sort of random, but shostakovich doesn't get nearly as much credit as he deserves.

I play viola. Once, in orchestra class, my teacher told us a story about this guy. It goes like this: Okay, so, you know how he has this awesome cello who no one can replicate, right? Well, one time he was on his way to a concert, in a taxi. When he got there, he got out and ran. Only one thing missing, right? HIS CELLO!!!! So, the taxi drives off and halfway to the stage, he realizes he forgot his cello! The taxi guy comes back, gives him the cello back, and gets payed $100. Happy ever after.

Yo Yo Ma is someone worth being inspired by, I play cello and even though I have perfect pitch and can copy tunes by ear on the cello and other instrumetns, I will NEVER be as good as he will.
