You don't have to know anything about a knife other then how to use one. She was testing what was seen on TV, not claiming to be a professional on knives.

She was skinning the salmon completely wrong. Also, she cut the tomato wrong by sawing it instead of drawing the knife back. Also, the frozen meat part was not right either because she is not even applying any pressure.
