Why? Its art there is no good reason to make it have a point that is just a very opinionated ideology. Some things should just be there because they are, for those that choose the green life great; for those that choose to build off of it and maintain their modern lifestyle good, for those that use some green ideas to create art great. The only reason to change is to meet others ideologies and bend to some twisted Utopian man made ideology. Nice videos water catchment though.
I get that its an art project, but maybe make something that is useful and artistic at the same time. Lots of resource and time I'm sure to get this thing up for just looks. it's pretty, but make it do something real, too! why not?
I love this structure as a component in the art work as well as a viable barn/home. I like the idea that it is made of pipes (no lumber loss) with the bale in-fill.
My cousin built his straw bale using 3" used drilling pipe so his main structure is welded together and then has straw infill.
