Fuck Bukowski. He was nothing more than a cheap American rip off of Celine.

Miller was a real man of the world. I don't know of too many American writers who were as cultured as ol' Henry was.

His nickname was "The Brooklyn Boy," and his first book "Black Spring" is set there, so the accent fits in and figures. I like him too, but he took his style from Celine and Breton.
