A mid town track light was out and there was no green for this train and no red on the other side. Hmm don't know if that whole light was off line but I did manage to position myself for a slow pace along side the northbound around 5:30pm. With season nearly over the traffic will be light to none, and daylight will be longer. So I'm hoping to get someone to hold the camera or their camera and team up to get some great paces of these FEC Trains. Kinda tough at times to keep the camera steady and on target while driving. I don't pace much in winter as there is to much traffic and the light is gone so early. Summer is almost here. Anyone interested?

  • Love the SD40-2s. They've become extinct up here on the UP in Illinois.

  • @cnw8052 some of them are still looking pretty good that they run down here. They should be around for a while still, at least I hope so.

  • nice pace dave!!

  • @doug33020 , thanks Doug, I had hoped we might have both caught this one. Longer days and less snowbird traffic makes paces easier and hard to resist.

I think the 937 stops at Ft.Lauderdale. I am usually south of there in Hollywood, so I never get to see it.

I need to try a pace on Dixie Hwy someday. Its tough cuz there are trees between the street and tracks.

  • @doug33020 The signal light @ Gomez was INOP in both directions and shazamm it was coming at me, did a U-turn in Gomez to do the pace. Well if you ever come this way let me know, I'll drive you shoot the train. Hard to steady the shot best while twittering, emailing, texting and shooting. ok I don't do all that and never ever text. Clear sailing in the summer after dinner. Some can be paced for nearly 15 minutes if you get em in Hobe Sound (southend). Hope I can get 222 tonight before dark.

  • @Javerrijumar28 I appreciate your comments, thank you. Pacing is my favorite so I love it when traffic off season is low and I can get them.
