I fell MADLY in love with this aria after seeing a televised simulcast of "La Boheme" and got to actually see what was going on in an opera. So passionate! NOBODY sings like Luciano! His voice was a gift from heaven! This was Luciano in his prime, at the height of his voice's extraordinary quality. BRILLIANT!

Pavarotti is so moving! I love this execution.
Also, he was really skilled, as you can hear.
That is wat counts. Nothing else. If you like also another tenor, go and listen to him. But don't say Pavarotti didn't know how to sing!
