Robert Anton Wilson - On Head-Resting

For years Bob was using Medicinal Marijuana to control the pain of post-polio syndrome. Over most of his career he used Inspirational Marijuana in the process of writing his many books. From time to time he used Liturgical Marijuana to enhance the power of ritual. He had a deep humane sensitivity generously offered to all in conversation, with a joyful optimistic "model-agnosticism" pervading all his comments. He revelled in wry but benevolent observations of, what he calls in this video clip, the "wild ideas" found in humanity's numerous belief systems.

Bob was suffering from Post-Polio Syndrome. He was experiencing great pain, relieved by Medical Marijuana. He was completely clear-minded, and as brilliant and funny as ever, but he had increasing difficulty in his last year with all his muscles, making even talking difficult at times.
