The song called, "Solitaire", is actually named "Palladio" -it was orginally composed by Karl Jenkins. The first and original black and white silhouette diamond commercial "A Diamond Is Forever; Diamond Solitaire", with the unmistakable classicalesque music aired in 1999. After this, every cheap department store that carries jewelry started to rip this commercial off and make their own sorry versions of it... Just look at how similar the Zales commercials are.

Diamonds do have some material value, but not even close to what the jewelry industry puts it at, it's legally a cartel by United States law.

A weapon can be used for hunting, target practice, recreation, collecting, defense, or in the bleakest of times, revolt.

And DeBeers definitely facilitates murder, there's no telling how much blood has been shed for their stones, and for what, to exist for looks at an artificial price?

Sure, they used AK's, but was it really Izhevsk that made them kill?

diamonds have value and could be used for a lot of different products, for example diamond has one of the best heat conductions in the world and could be used for cooling processors in servers or computers in general. But weapons are only good for killing people, the debeers diamond industry only rips people off.

Weapons are good for something, diamonds have nothing but artificial value.

I wonder if they could ever run a commercial like this again, I mean 1 in 2 marriages ends in divorce.
