OOPS, Hawk1513 wrote something, but I deleted it by accident! Sorry Hawk1513. You stated:
"i remember when i ran into this book and immediately got hooked. i think they were like 5 books in the US at the time. and i bought all 5 at once. one of my favorites mangas ever...i dont know about the anime though i wasnt expecting it to become that."
I agree, There were the first three volumes realeased, but ti was Dreamsong that totally floored me. Amazing art and fight sequences.

Thanks for all the views!
I've uploaded another BotI slideshow featuring Maki fight sequences - primarily from Dreamsong

nice vid! yeah US is like 4 volumes behind Japan :/ Prison arc is kinda slow, but then everything cranks up with the itto-ryu and a bunch of new adversaries!

Great to hear! I personally liked the Prison arc's pacing.

BotI is truly a gem of a comic/manga.
The style of art, the atmosphere of the work.
I wish I understood Japanese. Apparently the pure version of the comic is a thousand times better in its original language/text. People speak a certain way and the character is even further fleshed out through their own unique dialog. Thanks for looking and replying Dahalum!
