@PeterPanDancer Agreed, but she shouldn't have lied or at least implied a lie. She should've been up front about it instead of taking all the credit. It would've made her no less of a great dancer, we all know that in most dance movies where the "dancer" isn't professional, they get a little help. But to go out of her way to state that it was all her was unecessary.

@TheBambieyes Yeah. I have the one with the special features, too and never once do they mention Chryssie. I can only imagine how gipped she feels. Still, Julia did do a great deal of the dancing and I applaud her on her hard work.

@PeterPanDancer I've been deceived! All this time, I've been thinking that she did it ALL on her own. I had the special edition VHS with behind the scenes footage & whatnot & I thought I heard Julia say that she begged that the director would NOT cast a double for her character & she implied that she did ALL the ballet on her own. That aint cool....

@TheBambieyes While I agree with you that Julia was absolutely superb in this and did her dancing quite well...I do think her dance double does need some recognition. Chryssie Whitehead (who played Christine in the revival of A Chorus Line on Broadway) did a beautiful job with the more difficult ballet moves.
