QWERTY Keyboard analog synth

A home-made synthesizer based off of an old function generator and a standard qwerty board. Three wave types--sin, square, sawtooth--and HI+LO outputs. It connects to the keyboard with a stereo 1/4" cable (TRS) so new controllers can be made.

Im working on some mods and new controllers for it, shave my head....no....but i'm sure it's just a comment of jealousy to my hair ;) and yes i have tattoos

Well, i pretty much DO show you how i made it. You need a tone generator of some sort and then its really just a matter of finding how much resistance it takes to change the pitch of the initial tone to the desired tone of the new note you want. This can be done with resistors or in my case i used all potentiometers. From there, you just make an array of the resistors with diodes on each side going to a button for each resistor.

You should replace the keys painted black to just keys off of a black keyboard. :)

this is very cool man, I decided 2009 I wanted to create my own synth and this seems along the lines of what i wanted to do. Have you ever seen the power glove controller? do you think you could mix it with this so you could use it as a controller?
