  • I am really sorry to say this but your horse IS underweight. I have horses as well and have owned and trained them my entire life. Your mare s ribs are showing, her backbone is visible, she is sunk in at both the hips and flank...........That is too skinny.

  • WOW she is really really pretty where did you get a mare like that???

  • i dont find it bad how you've decided to break your horse in at all and its your choice.. but what i dont understand is that you said 'she looks skinny but she isn't'? im not quite sure how thats possible! and you shouldn't be able to see the ribs, but you should be able to feel them..

  • @TheCheyrose maybe*

  • @mistybay1 don't judge a book by its cover, how would you know if shes stupid? and you better watch your mouth, because you never know who you are talking to,what is so bad about bareback and holding onto the mane, mayber YOU not U are the stupid one...

  • I think yall did a good job! I know a few folks that will only start one bareback at first then progress to a saddle.

  • @mistybay1 how do you think they broke um in the plains, shes a cowgirl, let her do what she does......

  • @mistybay1 She wasn't stupid, she was just ignorant towards the horse being unbroken. There is nothing wrong with breaking a horse bareback, I personally find it easier for both me and the horse. If she chooses to ride without hat it is up to her, I personally never ride with one unless I'm in a riding school. And you don't have to have someone hold the horse, it's just recommended in the event the horse tries to bolt. I will openly say I wouldn't break a horse in this way, but it is her choice.

  • u said `My First Horse Breaking Exsperiance´ im sorry but ur a very stupid girl 1: bare back n holding onto the mane 2: no hat 3:havin someone that isnt really suitable n sensible n experienced enough to hold ur horse (after all shes holdin her with one hand coz shes recordin with the other at the start n has no idea what to do with ur horse she just lets her do her own thing not really payin attention n near the end lettin the rope go onto the floor)
