Acceleration and drive-by

Car has custom headers, Renntech pulley kit, custom bored throttle body, K&N Filter, Kleemann Muffler, Custom injectors, Denso Spark plugs and custom tuning (which was done by a great company and not even completely finished).

  • @kingssuck06 - Unless you have a lot of money and a lot of time, I'd say it's not worth it. For the brief time that I had all the parts in, the car was definitely a sleeper for 230K SS, but I've since removed the headers and don't intend on doing further work on the car because the engine is already out of production. At that time, I was pulling a little over 200hp to the wheels (~230-240 at the crank), but I'm back to almost stock, so I'm nowhere near that anymore. 0-60, never measured.

  • Not for this car. Just a filter. Thanks for the compliments. Only way to unloke the supercharger whine is through the tuning.

  • K&N intake? No such thing. K&N filter is $50/60 bucks.  That's not what you're hearing. Read all the mods and you'll see I have custom headers, custom injectors, bored throttle body, Kleeman Trapezoid muffler and Custom tuning (that's what made the supercharger whine so prominent). K&N doesn't really do anything, except get rid of the stock paper filter.
