READ THIS! READ THIS! READ THIS! YES; I MEAN YOU! READ THIS!!!!

First of all: Thanks for watching this countdown! ^__^ As a reward for pointing your attention towards this video you get this: (::) [=virtual cookie] XD

Now, on to the important stuff.

Most important: Yes, I know that there are most certainly TONS of other badass, unique and cool abilities, but I'm not the goddess of anime or something, meaning: I can only judge what I have watched. Up until now, the list of animes I've watched consists of around 25 animes, which is not very many, and clearly I can only pick abilities from those I know. Still, instead of maybe trolling me or hating this video 'cause I didn't mention an ability you like, why don't you just recommend me the anime you mean and I'll have a look at it? ;-) Of course you can still post a comment with negative feedback and / or give the video a dislike, because unlike lots of other Youtubers I can deal with and, in fact, want to hear constructive criticism to hear what bothered you about the video.
(Note: Yes, I do know Naruto and Naruto Shippuuden and I also know Dragonball, Hellsing and Code Geass, but I have my reasons for not mentioning those in my countdown.)

Now, maybe a little bit of explaining why I have picked exactly those 5 special abilities and none other...

#5 Shunko
Bleach is full of awesome abilities. Every sword has it's own style and it's own abilities and attacks, but Shunko is something completely different (Fullbring is also something completely different. But compared to Shunko Fullbring just sucks while Shunko is epic...) Yoruichi and Sui Feng are the only characters of Bleach who can use this power. Not even headcaptain Yamamoto is able to use it, which makes it even more awesome. Moreover, it looks awesome, it increases the user's physical power, allows him to move faster and can even be used as a shield against kido-based attacks. Basically, kido is the only thing you can use to properly counter attack Shunko. All in all: it rocks.

#4 Mina Hazuki's Energizing
Compared to other contractor powers in the anime Darker Than Black, I consider Mina's energizing ability the potentially most dangerous one. Simply by fueling them with energy she can turn completely harmless objects such as twigs or cables into lethal weapons that can cut through any kind of material. Even Hei, who is displayed as the strongest contractor in the series, struggles against her and her power. Moreover, in order to dodge an attack Mina is even able to teleport or phase in some way by energizing herself. It absolutely deserves to be in this countdown.

#3 Ga-Rei Release
Imagine you would be able to summon a giant beast with fangs and claws that you can use to kill everything around you in a matter of a seconds. Do I have to say anything more?

#2 Vectors
Being able to tear people apart, dodge bullets and jump several metres high and far only by using telekinesis? Come on, even the biggest Naruto-fan has to admit that this is freakin' badass!

#1 Magic
I could've also picked the jutsus of Naruto as #1, and to be honest: Originally, I wanted to. Even though I completely hate the storyline of Naruto and Shippuuden, I have to admit that the fighting animations and fighting abilities rock. So I did a pro's and con's list in my head for Fairy Tail and Naruto and in the end, I decided to pick Fairy Tail's Magic because of one very important difference: Variety of single attacks. Except of Rasengan and Chidori, the jutsus of Naruto always look the same. The shadow clones are always the same, the transformation jutsu is always the same, even the abilities that are said to be special always look the same. In Fairy Tail, the magic of one mage can have countless different unique styles and looks. Until now, Natsu's Karyuu no Houko has 6 different styles, every one of them with their own look and destructive force. Erza's "The Knight" was shown to have around 20 styles (although it is said to have more than 200), every single one of them with their own specific abilities. And that's how it is with nearly every mage in Fairy Tail, which is exactly what amazes me about it. So basically, the magic of Fairy Tail that is displayed in a bit more than 100 episodes until now is already far more complex than Naruto's Jutsus of approximately 600 episodes. And this is why I prefered Magic over Jutsus.

  • loved it, but Mina Hazuki's Energizing wasn't that powerful, after all, Hei beats it with no powers. I think energizing would have been cooler if someone else were using it, but great job besides that! (also loved the fairy tail magic, it just keeps gettting cooler)

  • @ChrisAnnis11 Hmm, don't exactly agree with that. In their first encounter, he breaks her energized bokken with his electrified knife. Other than that they're quite equal. In their second encounter, Hei completely catches her by surprise and distracts her with his knife, this wasn't even a real duel of their powers. And in their third encounter...Hazuki completely owns him. But that's just my opinion ^^ I'm glad you liked the video anyway ^^ Thanks for the comment! =D

  • may I recommend chrono crusade? (NOT chrono trigger of chrono, CHRONO CRUSADE a lot of people get confused)

  • @psiaura1 Hmmmm...never heard of that one...thanks for the recommendation, I'll check it out as soon as I can ^_^

  • What about KI from DBZ

  • @PrinceOfAllSayiyans Know it and like it, but it's not exactly one of my faves ;-)
