  • Might be easier to use a mortar and pestal

    to grind unfired scraps back into a powder

    before mixing in the distilled water.

  • That's a great idea, Rckr55. Then you'd have a more uniform paste without any lumps to contend with.

  • @Rckr55 How funny, I was thinking the same thing. Too much work the way she does it.

  • Yeah...I always just put all my metal clay dust and fillings directly in the container, spray with distilled water.

  • can't u just drop the clay powder or hardened clay into the container and put in some distilled water. let it sit for a day of two? It should automatically turn into usable clay with good consistency by itself.

  • a hand grinder would be even easier
