Footage I recorded in Freetown and Lakeville, Massachusetts on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 of flooding that occurred after heavy rainfall earlier in the week.

The first segment is MA Route 140 at the Chace Road overpass (Exit 8) in Freetown. Both lanes northbound and southbound were completely flooded. The highway was closed between Braley Road (Exit 7) and County Road (Exit 9). Traffic primarily flowing between New Bedford and Taunton was severely delayed.

The second segment is on County Road, just south of MA Route 140, Exit 9 were the road comes closest to Long Pond in Lakeville. At least three houses, two of which were at 202 and 215 County Road, were surrounded by water. The road was also flooded, however passable with an officer present.

Footage in this video was recorded in 1080i high definition with a Canon VIXIA HF20.
