I apologise for the potential bad quality of this.. I was twatted at Glasto and SO excited about seeing Bright Eyes that it might just be me squealing over the music.. lol...

Only just remembered I had this footage, so sorry for the delay to anyone who was looking for Glasto footage; I know how illusive some of those Conor clips can be ;) lol.

Oh, and the shakey-handed-pointing-camera-at-peoples -backs is just me either trying to light a cigarette or merely suffering from holding up a camera for an entire fucking set and trying to hold the damn thing still... lol!

  • I was in the crowd for this one. It was amazing. I would love to have a proper recording of it (no offense to the poster, thanks for uploading!).

I love the flute solo that plays in the background through the second half of the song. It was wonderful live.

I was at Glasto in 2005 when Conor performed; moody and self-loathing, he frequently insulted the audience with bland anti-middle-class rubbish and finally spat on John Peel's grave; this 2007 performance was enough reason to forgive him.

  • they should re record this song like this

i mean why not, sounds fuckin awesoome

  • i saw them at t in the park that year, it was epic. i didnt realise what song it was til he started singing, like just didnt expect it.

  • Couldn't agree more.. I've - somewhat sadly - had to watch this version of it about 5 or 6 times, never heard him do the original though...

Still, the big band/country-esque aspect does a good job of livening up a BE crowd lol.

  • wish i was there

  • i was well there it was amazing. was well upset when his guitar didnt work at the end. he was gonna play i believe in symmetry i love that song

  • I like this version of the song.
