LC is better because its complete and have extra battles more pokemon and SG isnt even complete -.-

Liquid Crystal (LC) is way better than Shiny Gold (SG) overall for several reasons.

1.The whole Kanto region and Mt. Silver is complete in LC unlike SG.

2.LC has almost all the G/S/C music and more in-game content

and

3. Liquid Crystal's creator is still working on the game and has actually created a live beta version of the game which basically means he can fix glitches and update it onto live beta isp instantly, so you can patch in the latest version without having to restart your game.

They are both good. ShinyGold has an Easy and Hard version. Liquid Crystal is pretty hard but I like the opening with the animated Suicune and the variable weather.
