  • Why do you finish by looking downwards? I don't do any of the iaido forms, but shouldn't you finish by looking forward?

  • We look downwards as we do not take our eyes of the fallen opponent.

  • Excellent technique. Great distance covered, and the cut was broad yet expedite. However, I must say that the cut lacked control. I say this based on the grounds that the platform holding the wara fell. Still an impressive cut though, I must say.

  • Reckon you are entitled to your opinion; would be most impressed to see someone cut a single target free-standing on a piece of bamboo not much bigger than the target itself and leave both standing.

  • A single tatami omote, rolled and soaked.

  • I do not practice Musoshinden ryu and was not doing the kata Mae. I practice Mugairyu Iaihyodo, Meishi-ha.
