Vilayat Khah, Ali Akbar Khan, Allah Rakha Khan, Zakir Hussein, Amjad Ali Khan, Ravi Shankar, Shujaat Khan, Shahid Parvez, Nishat Khan, Ashish Khan are the shining stars in the galaxy of music.

It is very good but no where near Ali Akbar Khan Sahib's rendition.

We saw the Master and his son at the Myerson in Dallas shortly before his death- we will NEVER forget the incredible meends, gamakas and approach- the duets with Ustad Bismillah Khan are legendary- the world will not see a Master such as this again- can never get enough..... his 60s rendition of Alhaiya Bilawal is a landmark.

You should also listen to Uustad Ali Akbar Khan.

I had this first on cassette and then on CD, copied to MD and so on...must have listened several thousand times, not tired yet, and shall never be...I remember the time he played in Calcutta, few years before his death...unforgettable concert IIRC Zakir was on tabla...
