Starcraft: Vulture Trick

I was playing with afriend in a random map made by me some years ago.
I sent a vulture to place a mine next to the border between the low ground and the high ground, so it would start to dance and cause some serious lulz in the process.
As you can see in the video, the vulture went from the high terrain to the lower ground, without using a ramp. I was looking at a different part of the map when that happened and didn't notice it until some seconds later.
When I noticed it, I realized that the vulture did the same trick that you can do to go through minerals, so I tried to repeat it with another vulture but wasn't able to make it happen.
