  • Looks like a skater to me

  • @jkjklol123

Have heard that before, but definitely an MTI. It was a 2001 42 RP hull. It's since been traded off for a 40' race hull.

  • That's not an mti it's a skater

  • @mystic32cat

It's a 42 MTI with the race/pleasure hull. see the other video here for a better look at it. I know the low resolution on this old video doesn't help...

  • Where is this lake? My lake here in Texas is 24,000 acres and I ran my 24' boat 90-105 on it every weekend with no problems, but not in high-traffic areas.

Solutionsix thanks for the MTI vids, they are awesome boats. My dream is a 55 with turbines.

  • It's in Northwest Iowa and doesnt have quite the size, however, they also rarely take the boat up to speed either due to traffic and noise etc. Times like this when the traffic is low they will take it out and make a couple passes on the lake if possible.

They are also MTI fanatics. Very cool machines. I'll have more videos from the '08 Lake of the Ozarks championship as soon as I can get some time to convert them all.

  • A Canadian boat.

  • What is a bote?

  • Okoboji is perfect for opening boats up like this when it is not busy. Weekdays in the summer should be fine. It might not be a huge lake but it is close to 7 miles long. Not to mention the largest lake in Iowa is only around 3 miles away.

  • Iowa there is really 6 lakes that make it up West/East Okoboji, Spirt Lake, Upper/Lower gar, and minawashta. Its great for sailing too

  • I'm not sure what a bote is, however my boat is motor driven. Thank you for weighing in.
