Whilst Ive done a fair number of expeditions over the years amongst other, Ive never travelled w Bonnington. I have come across him on several occasions however and I do find him rather effete distant and, to be blunt, arrogant. He only really seems to be happy and relaxed when hes busy talking about himself, which is most of the time. I come across this only very rarely amongst other top people in adventure sports and I find it a big turnoff.

@chanctonbury63 He seemed very nice and genuine during the time we were with him. Lots of people seem that way at first, I've noticed, but after a few beers (or whatever) those people tend to actually be very good. I think its a karma thing. People are genuinely nice but there are walls. Fame also has an effect on ppl. Works both ways... If I didn't give ppl a chance, by me being supportive and positive to them first, then I wouldn't be in %90 of my relationships. ;) Cheers!
