Hay otra expresion que me encanta que es:

"Estoy hasta las narices"

"Estoy hasta la coronilla" (puede que esta sea un poco trasnochado)

Sip. En vez de esas, mi esposa dice:

"¡Estoy hasta el copete!"

la cual sería otra versión de las que pusiste. :-)

could "Que te hace llegar al colmo?" be translated as "what makes you tick?" like we use in english or is that too much of a stretch? I plan on becoming a translator in the future so I was just wondering.

Well I am no English expert... but isn't "What makes you tick?" more like "What makes you who you are?" At least in American English, "What makes you tick?" is something you might ask someone you want to explain their motives for their actions or something. I think maybe "What is your pet peeve?" might be a better translation.
