Well I just took my single muffler exhaust system out and replaced it with 2 thrush glass packs

  • There wasn't a whole lot to it. I just bought two 90 degree corners for each side from autozone and welded a U. I welded one side to the glass pack, then welded the other end to the original joints that bolt to the "logs"(cut off of the old mufflers) you'll have to cutout the left side if you want it to look right, but since I was getting ready to paint it It wasn't a big deal for me. I'll see if I can get a better picture of them for you.

  • Nice, I have a 1962 Corvair and Ive been wanting to do the same thing. What all pieces did you need to make it a dual exhaust? I have a leak in my muffler so I figured I would just get cherry bombs. Any tips would be appreciated. Well done

  • dude you need headers i got headers on mine with those same exaust mufflers and it really increases the response dramitically
