Wrong time of year, wrong locations to get this storm. This is what Minnesota always looks like in winter. Except we are prepared with sand and salt for the roads and armies of snow plows.

its wierd because here in england it is very mild for the end of october..in fact today i was sunbathing..the sun is oddly hot and the air is very mild..usually now its frosty..detest snow!!

@aFreshStart2010 On the South coast UK the temperature drops drastically in November usually. September is normally quite mild. Indian summer..

Yes here also in France weather is abnormaly warm. i refer to:

@ChristiannaGarrett1 There were lots of warnings on the news about the power outages to come. Many of the places don't ever have snowplows or very few of them...and they haven't stocked up on salt and sand yet I'm sure.

The warnings were given but I didn't see much about help for the elderly or sick. The warnings helped families who could stock up on food and warm clothes...but what about the homeless?

@INIKALLEN Yeah, i get that, there are places and places. Didn't mean to offend anyone..i used to live in Spain for yrs, obviously not a place where snow would be expected (except in the northern mountainous regions), and the winters have been very extreme all over Spain during many yrs now...all over Spain, and i saw them getting totally crippled by the snow..totally understandable in a country like that...still it felt so weird to watch it happen..being from Scandinavia.
