Forerunner Saga is first, then Contact Harvest, then Cole Protocole, then Fall of Reach, Then the Flood, Then Operation First Striker, then Ghost of Onyx, then Glasslands

I know its probably too late, but by all means reading GHOSTS OF ONYX first would be sooo much better. Not that it is absolutely necessary in order to understand GLASSLANDS (even though it definitely helps), but it is still by far the best halo book around. I've read them all at least once each and Fall of Reach is the only one that compares. As for Cole Protocol, I enjoyed it more than Harvest. It has a little more action plus I just like to read about badass spartans. Evolutions is good too

@TheHardWay71 master cheif is in cyro sleep after the fall of reach, wakes up, and halo 1 begins, then at the end of halo 3,he goes into cryo sleep so he doesn't have to wait for cortana to need him,send me a message if you want to more,or don't understand

I Am Really Mind-Fucked Right Now. Halo: Combat Evolved Began With Master Cheif Waking After Cryo Sleep, Which is The First Game. Halo: The Fall of Reach is Supposed to be the Beginning of Master Cheifs Story But at The Epilouge, It Says "Spartan 117 is in Cryo Sleep" Which is Master Cheif, But, Its Not Until The Ending of Halo 3 he Goes into Cryo Sleep and Not Until Halo 4 Does he Wake from Cryo Sleep...Help!?

Halo: Evolutions is actually a very good book. My personal favorites were Dirt and The Impossible Life and Possible Death of Admiral Preston J. Cole... Great stories.
