I always thought 'coming out' is harder for simple people with small resources who rely on people around them. Once you're were established, grown, independent, rich and famous, then you don't have a sh* to lose. His music was already gay, it's not like he lost a single fan he just made a fuzz about it for his ego and the kids. I already was and still am a fan of his music, but not impressed if you were loving men in your bed or public.
