If the rest of the movie sucked Zack Synder's Watchmen would still be worth watching for this amazing montage. This is the greatest music montage in cinema history. Fortunitly the movie that followed was pretty great too

This opening couldn't have been more perfect. The rest of the movie was such a letdown, unfortunately.

Alan Moore should write a modern version of Watchmen (or something equivalent)... 9/11, Afghan war, Iraq war, global economic crash, Arab Spring, Occupy movement, UK riots, Iranian nuclear threat, Barack fucking Obama, cold war with China

Really nailed all the nuances from the book. The details were great. From the two gay minute men talking at the table, to Nite Owl 1 saving Bruce Wayne's parents, thereby unmaking batman.
